Early Life: Sonakshi is the daughter of legendary Indian actor Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. She has two older twin brothers, Luv and Kush. Sonakshi made it to the headlines not only because she is a film star's daughter but also because she made her debut opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the blockbuster hit Dabangg (2010). Career Highlights: Despite some not-so-flattering remarks about her appearance, Sonakshi certainly made her mark and held her own in film. Her famous dialogue, "Thappad se dar nahi lagta sahib, pyaar se lagta hai" became one of the most quoted and spoofed dialogues in the months ahead. In 2012, Sonakshi was cast opposite Akshay Kumar in Rowdy Rathore and Joker. That year she was seen in Son Of Sardaar and the sequel to her debut film Dabangg 2. Sonakshi was cast opposite Ranveer Singh in the critically acclaimed Lootera (2013) and was also a part of Once Upon A Time Again (2013) in addition to her appearances in films like Bullet Raja and R...Rajkumar. She was seen in the movie Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014) opposite Akshay Kumar. Her other projects include Action Jackson opposite Ajay Devgn, and Tevar opposite Arjun Kapoor. She is the brand ambassador for Provogue, Emami, Dabur and D'damas to name a few.
